What Is GREEN?

What does GREEN mean?

An older dictionary defines green as a color and says someone can “be green with envy”.

In South Africa to “Go Green” refers to a program which helps farmers grow bountiful crops, save seeds, irrigate fields, plant and harvest and get their produce to market.

From Wikipedia: “Green is a color, the perception of which is evoked by light having a spectrum dominated by energy with a wavelength of roughly 520–570-nm. Recent political groups have taken on the color as symbol of environmental protection and social justice, and consider themselves part of the Green movement, some naming themselves Green parties. This has led to similar campaigns in advertising, as companies have sold green, or environmentally friendly, products.”

The Psalmist wrote about green pastures as a place of peace, contentment and soul restoration.

My concept of being green or moving toward the going green idea is that whatever effort or monies you spend should somehow return cash as your reward. Of course the long term benefit will be a healthier planet earth for our grandchildren but the combined short and long term goal is to get the best investment recovery time and then reap years and years of savings. I believe PowerwoRx e3 is all of these rolled into one.

Can you become GREEN?

PowerwoRx e3

PowerwoRx-e3 is a great product that not only reduces your energy usage, but also protects your home against power surges and spikes, and filters noise from your electrical system, increasing the efficiency and life of your electronics and appliances. Think of it like this, "It's an electronic body guard for your utility system!"

This amazing product typically pays for itself in just a few years, and life expectancy for PowerwoRx is over 20 years! This can mean big savings for your home.

      * Estimations based on using 23,000 KWH per year at $0.09/kwh and realizing a 15% savings.

CFL replacement

Compact fluorescent lighting is a good way to reduce your total wattage but it adds to the power factor problems, many interfere with other electronics and cause harmonics in the lines. If you install CFLs you do need the PowerwoRx e3 to take care of these three main issues.

Although CFLs are improving many still have an unusual color spectrum, flickering and warm up time. CFLs should not be used for short on/off cycles and don’t perform well outdoors during cold winters. These lamps will need to be replaced every 6 to 8 years at which time the cost, recovery and saving cycle starts over. For more detailed info read “COMPACT FLUORESCENT LIGHT BULBS”. (link to CFL page by Goldwasser & Klipstein) One final gotcha is the lack of infrastructure nationwide for disposing of spent bulbs, they contain small amounts of mercury and must be taken to a recycle-disposal site, not a landfill!

** Compact Fluorescent Lighting, based on replacing ten 60 watt incandescent lamps with ten 13 watt CFLs and an electric rate of $0.09/kwh.
